Army:
Army Green (1) / Khaki Brown:
H 6 - 35 % + H 7 - 35 % + H 4 - 30 %
Source: Model Art 329, 428
Info: This mix results in a color identical to 3rd chip in Model Art 428
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Army Green (3):
H 6 - 50 % + H 7 - 30 % + H 4 - 20 %
Source: Model Art 329
Info: Color does not match chip, but is a close match to the color seen on the Ki 45´s and Ki 44 photographed at Clark in Feb. ´45 - I´d rather call it „Olive Brown"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Army Khaki Green:
H 6 - 50 % + H 4 - 30 % + H 7 - 20 %
Source: Model Art 329
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Army Khaki Black:
H 47 - 55 % + H 12 - 45 %
Source: Model Art 428
Info: Color looks like that of a Hershey´s bar. Might be close to the „chocolate bar brown" of the 244th Sentai´s katabami-marked Ki 61-Tei
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

H 1 - 83 % + H 4 - 7 % + H 2 - 5 % + H 7 - 5%

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nakajima Brown (Ki 43-III):
H 7 - 45 % + H 2 - 30 % + H 4 15 % + H 1 - 10 %
Source: Model Art 395
Info: Color chip shows an Olive Green slightly darker and more green than H 62 - Army Green. Mixing according to the above formula results in a tone close to „Prop Brown"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nakajima Gray Brown :
H 1 - 80 % + H 2 - 10 % + H 4 - 5 % + H 6 - 5 %
Source: Model Art 395
Info: Again, the resulting color does not match the chip, being much darker, better discribed as „Green Gray"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nakajima Khaki Brown:
H 7 - 65 % + H 2 - 20 % + H 4 - 10 % + H 1 - 5 %
Source: Model Art 395
Info: Instructions in MA call fo 10 % of H 5, this should be 10 % of H 4, as above! Resulting color looks more like 3rd chip from the bottom
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nakajima Dark Green:
H 6 - 60 % + H 5 - 25 % + H 2 - 10 % + H 4 - 5 %

Note on Navy Greens:
I´ve refrained from trying the mixes for these from Model Art 272, thinking that the more recent Model Art 406 provides more authentic color bombinations.
Of these three, „Nakajima" is by far the darkest with the most blue pigment in it. „Aichi" and „Mitsubishi" are fairly close, the latter seeming to be a bit „Greener" than the former. „Kawanishi Green" from Model Art 304 is also very dark, although less blue than „Nakajima". Mssing In Action:

- So far I have found no mix for the dark green used by Kugisho on its D4Y and P1Y aircraft. Judging from the Garber photos I´ve seen, „Aichi Green"
seems the closest match, although it´s very hard to match it to the photos. Any additional info on this subject is warmly welcome!
