Mitsubishi Ki-1
Purpose: A replacement for the Kawasaki Type
87 Heavy Bomber.
Description: Same as a Junkers K-37, which
was imported from Junkers Sweden and donated to the Army.

- Rolls-Royce Buzzard engines rated at 800 hp
engines
- Inflight Single engine capability
- Bombload was to be 1000-1500 kg
- Operational altitude between 2000m & 4000m
- Max speed of 240 km/h
- Armament included 3 - 7.7mm machine-guns
- Ki-1-II
- Engines were moved lower on the wing and the
undercarriage was extended and streamlined with a
trouser type fairing.
- Cockpit canopy was extended to include the rear
gunners position
