The model is 1/72, from an old UPC kit (we're talking moveable ailerons
here). I scratchbuilt the interior and wingtip floats, smash-formed the canopy and made a highly suspect beaching dolly from the clear stand provided with the kit. Much help came from the good folks on the message boards, my thanks to them! The model took some 18 months to complete, due mostly to scheduling conflicts and a move across town.
