I
have Hasegawa's kit 09334 of the Ki 84-I Type 4 Hayate. I'd like to finish
it in the kit supplied markings of 47th Flight Regiment at Narimasu AB in
May 1945.
What
green and grey should I use? Hasegawa recommends Gunze 128 & 129, which
are very hard to come by for me. Are Xtracolour X-351 and X-352 good
solutions?
Preferably:
does anyone have a good colormix based on Tamiya paints for me??

Good
timing! There was a similar query that I had replied to on this Board on
23rd Sept. Basically, the Tamiya mix (matched to the chips in Model Art #
283 on the Ki-84) is as follows:
Upper
Green: X 9 (18 parts) + X 8 (15 parts) + X 5 (7 parts)
Lower
Grey Green: XF-14 (40 parts) + X 2 (20 parts) + X 8 (4 parts) + X 9 (1 part)
You
are welcome. Forgot to mention..

...that
the best match for the Ki-84 propellers is XF-26 straight out of the bottle.
It is virtually an exact match to the corresponding color chip in MA 283.
