If you want to read a book about the development or the
operation history of the Zero, this book is not for you.
However, if you want to build a model of the Zero, you
will want this book.
It covers various models from the A6M2 through the A6M7.
There are 14 color profiles and a total of 185 photos
and drawings. Of these, 161 are close up and detailed
photos and drawings of restored Zeros in museums. The
other 24 photos are older historical b/w shots that have
appeared elsewhere. The detailed photos and drawings are
what makes this book worthwhile. It it perfect for detail
freaks. The photos are all in excellent color.
The text is in both Polish and English.
There are 6 complete pages of modeling information
including a long listing of kits, decals and accessories.
In my mind, this is a great reference for modelers since
it appears to have been written expressly for us.
Good value for money.
