As a request
from me after the recent thread on Japanese Navy & Ships
regarding the only surviving 8 inch dual turret build by Japan prior
to WWII, Mr. Vidya Tapasanan recently forwarded to me 15 color
photos of the memorial of the Thai warship HTMS Dhonburi and photo
of oil painting of the same ship taken at the Royal Thai Naval
Museum). He took these on December 15, 2001. He was
wondering if it was possible to post them on your "Family
photos section". His only request is that these
photos should not be used commercially without his permission.
They can be used non-commercially by anyone who is willing to
give him proper credit for the photos. -Ed Low

Another
one is two photos of RTAF Ki-43-IIb in natural metal
finished after the war.
The
first three photos are the caption from the film taken during the
hand-over of Ki-43-IIb from IJAAF to RTAF personnel at Singapore
AB in 1943.
One of which is very interesting as
RTAF officers did paint the white elephant in red rectangle
marking on the tail of newly-acquired RTAF's Hayabusa!
Hayabusa photos are from Top Gun magazine.
